An integral part of the service team behind David Hodges’ insurance practice, Lindsay Boineau joined the operation in 2011. She is responsible for a wide variety of servicing functions: annual reviews of policies, processing of claims, beneficiary updates, address or billing changes, assistance with loan requests, cash value reports, and much more. It’s a role that requires attention to detail, and a proactive client-oriented approach.
Given the day-to-day demands of work and family, it is not uncommon for clients to purchase a life or disability income insurance policy and to then forget, or misplace the specific details of their coverage. Lindsay makes sure that clients are always informed about their purchase, and that they have a resource to turn to should they have any questions.
Over the years Lindsay has developed in-depth knowledge about the intricacies of the different types of policies the practice offers. Though she originally intended to study marketing and management, she ultimately chose to major in Risk Management at the University of South Carolina, where she graduated in 2004. Insurance appealed to her due of its practical and tangible nature.
What Lindsay loves most about her job is the opportunity to truly help people. “As with all insurance, our hope is our clients will not need to file a claim, but if they ever do, I make sure that all of their information is accurate and up to date,” says Lindsay. She strives to offer excellent service, which she delivers with thoughtful and sincere care for clients’ needs.
Lindsay is licensed to sell Life, Accident, and Health insurance in South Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and exercising. She resides in Columbia, with her husband, Trippett, and their two girls.
